Adam Marko is one of Hungary’s most employed drummers and session musicians, recognized for his versatility and dynamic playing style. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a diverse range of top artists and bands including Desh, Special Providence, Cloud 9+, Kaltenecker-Markó, Ganxsta Zolee, Udvaros Dorottya, USEME, Tompos Kátya, Für Anikó, Miller Zoltán, Hrutka Róbert and many others.
His musicianship has earned him international recognition, with UK's MusicRadar nominating him for Progressive Drummer of the Year in 2018. Endorsed by top brands such as Sonor Drums, Meinl Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, and Vic Firth. He has performed in over 30 countries, appearing at major international festivals and events. In 2017, he was invited to DRUMEO, the world’s premier online drum education platform.
As the founding member of Special Providence, Marko has played a pivotal role in bringing the band to global prominence, touring extensively across EU, Japan, the USA, and South America and sharing the stage with industry giants such as Spock’s Beard, Dream Theater, Steve Hackett and Haken.
He regularly conducts masterclasses across Europe and has been running his own drum school since 2005. In 2022, he launched the "Markó Drum Farm", a unique international drum camp that brings together world-renowned drummers and educators to share their expertise with participants.
